Children are the care takers of the world of tomorrow. For this reason, our dedicated team has developed GreenBee Kids: An educational program that gets primary school students involved in some green fingered fun. So that we can support them to discover the beauty of nature and the importance of taking care of her.

GreenBee Kids lets students see nature through a different lens, as they learn that taking good care of greenery allows them to enjoy the benefits and gifts that nature brings. We are aiming for greener future by investing in a green generation.

OUR GOAL?
Green classrooms the norm by 2030!
GreenBee Kids aims to build a database of all things green, providing children with a green foundation to nurture their blossoming green awareness, a foundation they can build on as they learn how take care of nature, the world and each other.
Greenbee plant booklet
The creative team from our valued partner Floramedia has designed a 56-page plant booklet, to help children learn all about their plant and how to care for it. The booklet also teaches children about the things plants give back to the world, the importance of taking care of them and how much fun that can be.
Please note: The booklet is currently only available in Dutch.

GreenBee visits your school: Every child receives their own plant, learns how to care for it and discovers the benefits of a greener classroom.

The classroom is greener more beautiful and healthier. Together with the teaching staff a weekly schedule is set for the children to care for their plant. Students can then choose to learn more without obligation from our plant booklet. Students may even take their new green friend home during vacations.

Children 'light up'!
Children become really engaged during our lessons. Even children who often find (theoretical) learning quite challenging, enjoy getting stuck into our lively and practical GreenBee lessons.

Kids bloom too
To date, there has not been a single child who has not managed to keep his/her plant healthy for at least 3 months. The plants (and children) are doing great!

Asks little of teachers
The lessons are fully provided, and the students take care of their own plant and all additional activities (working in the activity booklet, deepening or broadening) are without obligation.

GreenBee kids makes a concrete contribution to 7 primary learning objectives in the Netherlands (see above).

A green classroom has many advantages. Not only is the air healthier, plants also improve the overall atmosphere in the classroom and increase productivity :)

Affordable for schools
We actively work on sponsorship and do a lot voluntarily. The contribution for schools is therefore lower than our expenses and at times we are fortunate enough give our program away for free. Muchas gracias to our partners!
